Principle:
Paper and paperboard surface water absorption (Cobb) value: the amount of water absorbed by the surface of the paper and paperboard per unit area under a certain pressure and temperature within a specified time, its calculated by g/m2. The specific formula is as following: C=(G2-G1) 100. Where: C-Cobb absorption value, G2-sample mass after water absorption, G1-sample mass before water absorption.
