Features
can do two kinds of testing: aging and anti-yellowing
Aging: the machine can promote the increase of sulfur rubber deterioration, to calculate the change rate of tensile and elongation before and after heat. Its generally thought that test for one day at 70C, in theory as exposed to the atmosphere for 6 months.
Anti-yellowing: the machine stimulate the atmosphere environment, driven by the sun ultraviolet radiation. Its generally thought that the appearance change at 50C for 9 hours, in theory as exposed to atmosphere for 6 months.

Advanced Yellowing and Aging SimulationThis chamber offers accurate simulation of yellowing effects on various materials using controlled heat and light exposure. The optional UV or visible light source mimics natural aging, making it invaluable for assessing how plastics, rubber, textiles, and leather products withstand prolonged environmental conditions.
Precision and Ease of OperationEquipped with a digital LED display and timer controller, this chamber provides a user-friendly interface for programming temperature and test duration. Fast response times and high accuracy ensure that you can set and maintain precise testing parameters, vital for reproducible results.
Durability and Safety AssuranceSafety and longevity are integral to the design. The stainless steel interior resists corrosion, while temperature overrun protection and a power safety interlock prevent accidents. High-density polyurethane insulation maintains consistent conditions, supporting reliable, repeatable tests for routine and research applications.
FAQ's of Yellow Aging Resistance Test Chamber:
Q: How does the Yellow Aging Resistance Test Chamber simulate yellowing in materials?
A: The chamber uses a combination of controlled heating (up to 100C) and optional UV or visible light sources to accelerate the natural yellowing and aging process in various materials, such as plastics, rubbers, textiles, and leather.
Q: What types of specimens can be tested, and what is the maximum specimen size?
A: This chamber accommodates multiple specimens per rack, with a maximum size of 150 x 70 mm each. It is suitable for materials including plastic, rubber, leather, and textiles, ensuring versatility for laboratory testing.
Q: When should I use this chamber for material testing?
A: Use the chamber during quality control, material research, or product development phases to evaluate yellowing resistance and aging performance under standardized laboratory conditions.
Q: Where can this test chamber be installed and used?
A: Designed as a floor-standing unit with lockable casters, the chamber is suitable for material testing laboratories, research facilities, or quality control departments in manufacturing environments.
Q: What is the testing process in this chamber?
A: Specimens are placed on dedicated racks inside the chamber. Parameters like temperature, humidity, light exposure, and timer are set using the digital control panel. The chamber maintains controlled conditions while accelerating the aging and yellowing process, with results observed through the window.
Q: How does the chamber ensure user and sample safety during operation?
A: Safety features include temperature overrun protection, a power safety interlock to prevent unauthorized access during operation, a sealed insulated design, and a robust exterior, ensuring both operator safety and sample integrity.
Q: What are the benefits of using this test chamber over traditional aging methods?
A: Compared to ambient or natural aging studies, this chamber delivers faster, more uniform, and controllable conditions, improves reproducibility between tests, reduces lead time for results, and supports high-precision, standardized evaluations critical for quality assurance.
