Principle:
Positive pressure test: After filling the sample with a certain pressure of gas by setting parameters, the pressure sensor is used to detect the pressure change inside the sample to judge the overall sealing performance of the sample, and the pressure resistance and burst performance of the sample are tested with the specified air pressure.
The instrument complies with many national and international standards: GB/T 10440, GB/T 18454, GB/T 19741, GB/T 17447, GB/T 17876, GB/T 10004, GB/T 10005, BB/T 0003, BB/T 0025, QB/T 1871, YBB 00252005, YBB 00162002, ASTM F1140, ASTM F2054, ISO 11607-1, ISO 11607-2

FAQ's of Leakage and Seal Strength Tester for Packaging Testing:
Q: How does the Leakage and Seal Strength Tester improve packaging quality control?
A: By enabling precise detection of leaks and accurate measurements of seal strength, this tester ensures package integrity, preventing product spoilage and improving overall packaging reliability as part of a robust QA/QC process.
Q: What packaging materials are compatible with this tester?
A: The tester is designed for evaluating plastic, foil, laminated packaging, pouches, and sachets, making it versatile for industries using a variety of flexible packaging materials.
Q: When should I use burst, creep hold, or leak test modes?
A: Burst testing assesses the maximum pressure a seal can withstand before rupturing. Creep hold examines seal integrity under a constant pressure for a set duration, while leak tests detect gradual loss of pressure, indicating leaks or weak seals.
Q: Where does the tester store data, and how can I export it?
A: Test records are automatically saved in the system memory, which can hold up to 500 results. Data export is available via USB for seamless transfer; RS232 interface is also available as an option.
Q: What is the process for calibrating the device?
A: The tester features both automatic and manual calibration modes, ensuring precise and reliable operation. Calibration procedures can be initiated via the touchscreen interface, with a calibration certificate provided in the accessory package.
Q: How can I benefit from using programmable test durations?
A: Programmable test durations (up to 9999 seconds) allow you to tailor the tests to specific packaging requirements, optimizing accuracy and efficiency for different types of package integrity evaluations.
Q: What are the recommended usage conditions for optimal tester performance?
A: For accurate results and equipment longevity, operate the tester in a clean environment free from corrosive gases and strong electromagnetic interference, with ambient temperature between 15C - 35C and humidity between 20% - 70% RH.
